The bursaries are intended to assist ISAP members who are early career practitioners or students who do not have access to substantial other funds to attend the 16th International Conference on Archaeological Prospection in September 2025. The value of each bursary is £100 and at least 6 bursaries may be awarded. The closing date for applications is 1st May 2025. Please read carefully the instructions on the application form, as they form part of the award conditions. The Application Statement should explain why the applicant is eligible for this bursary (see below) and highlight the benefits of the bursary not only for the applicant (i.e. nice to have extra money), but also for ISAP.

- for early career practitioners: you will normally have graduated within the last three years and be working in archaeological prospection on a junior level, either paid or voluntarily;
- for students: if you are registered at a university or further education college for a degree or PhD programme;
- you do not have access to substantial other funds to attend (e.g. doctoral conference grant, training conference allowance)
